Zena’s Online Journal MS Journey

Zena’s Online Journal MS Journey

This is my online diary of my health, this is a place I come to release all my frustration and vent. Sometimes you just have to let off steam…

As most of my family, friends, and followers already know I am about to start treatment with ‘Lemtrada Alemtuzumab’ on the 4th of July. But first I needed to start my listeria diet, which I have.

The amount of stress this is causing me is unreal, not only for the preparation for the treatment but also for life’s hurdles.

Today I am up at the hospital to have my blood and collect a prescription that should have been ready for me to collect but I have to waste one and half hours waiting for it to be prepared.

I have previously done work experience whilst I was in the sixth form at this hospital and have been shown how the medicines are dispensed. Basically, someone types something into the computer, and a revolutionary machine sorts it out, dispenses it, and then all the pharmacists do is stick a sticker on it, it’s that quick, so I do not understand the hold-up.

STRESS

But my stress is a build-up of other events that are going on in my life. For example ‘Transport For Wales’ are constantly on my case going on that they have not received my new PIP award. PIP is so backlogged that they keep reviewing every 3 months without actually awarding anyone and it is just a waiting game. When I first applied I was told by (TFW) that I was not disabled enough to qualify for a bus pass but that was overturned as I had a (PIP) award.

“I have relapsed and am due to start treatment on 4th July 2022 and if that is not proof I have a progressive disease, I do not know what is? I am not going to jump through hoops for no -one, just to justify that I am disabled. My letter from the hospital should be evidence enough”!

My mother who is my carer has reached out to the ‘Transport For Wales’ (TFW) Agency and it seems it goes over their heads even going as far as saying that they have not received anything from me or from her. My mother actually wrote an article regarding bus passes and is waiting on an update. https://disabledentrepreneur.uk/bus-passes-for-the-disabled/

The stress this is causing me is unbelievable. It does not stop there, a few years ago I had my bloods taken at the same hospital that I visited today and one of the nurses butchered my vein, a few years later I think I had the same woman because my arm is in so much pain.

MY HEALTH

Like I said it is one obstacle after another. I am on my third week of coughing as I have a viral infection but have been told by the Neurologist and the MS Team that I need to get rid of my cough before starting my treatment, otherwise, it won’t go ahead, I was told by the MS Team to start antibiotics prescribed by my GP last week.

In order to get a consultation with a GP, I had to phone the doctor’s practice and was told by the receptionist my matter was not an emergency and to phone back, the following day on a first come first seen basis. (Excuse me but since when are receptionists qualified to make those decisions)?

I phoned back again the same day and this time I said the consultant at the hospital insisted it was urgent to which I was told by the receptionist a doctor would phone me. (This could have been done and dusted on my first call but it is what it is and is done now).

I waited all afternoon and finally spoke with the head doctor at the practice (Dr.C) who had a tone on her like I was inconveniencing her. (Sorry is there something more important that you could be doing, rather than dealing with me)?

So all in all I am not coping well, especially with people who are ignorant or simply do not care.

Bus Passes For The Disabled.

Bus Passes For The Disabled.

You can apply for a disabled person’s bus pass or rail card if you have an illness and you cannot manage to walk long distances.

People with, mental, physical, and learning disabilities are entitled to apply.

The criteria are that you have to be receiving personal independence payments or a disability living allowance.

You or someone else can apply on your behalf, such as a friend, family member, or carer.

Once approved you will be able to travel for free by bus or get 30% off your train tickets.

Most applications are through your local council as they are the ones that are in charge of public (bus) transport.

Alternatively, you can contact your local Citizens Advice which can help you with the application if you need it.

Applying for a railcard

You need to use this link to Find out if you’re eligible and how to apply on the National Rail website. Unfortunately, if you do not qualify, you will have to pay the full price for your train tickets. If your application gets rejected you cannot appeal.

Applying for a disabled person’s bus pass

Criteria:

  • you are blind or partially sighted, deaf, or unable to speak.
  • you cannot walk very far because of a disability, illness, or injuries, such as multiple sclerosis or autoimmune disorder, or a mental illness.
  • you are immobilized you do not have arms or legs.
  • you have a severe learning disability.
  • you’ve been refused a driving license because of your health (but not because of problems with drugs or alcohol). (Although drug addiction and alcoholism is also an illness).

To know if you are entitled to a free bus pass visit the Government website on GOV.UK and see what evidence you’ll need to show if you are eligible.

If you live in London

You’ll need to apply for a ‘Disabled Person’s Freedom Pass’ instead. The eligibility criteria are the same as for the rest of England.

Follow the steps on GOV.UK to apply.

If you don’t qualify for a Disabled Person’s Freedom Pass, you can ask your council for a ‘discretionary bus pass’. Some London councils give these to people who aren’t eligible for a Freedom Pass but have problems getting around.

You might be able to use Dial-a-ride – a free door-to-door bus service run by Transport for London (TfL). You can become a member if you have a long-term disability or if you’re over 85 years old.

You can find out more about Dial-a-ride on the TfL website.

If you are refused a bus pass.

You can appeal to your council if your bus pass application was refused. Check your council’s website to find out how to appeal.

You can also visit your nearest Citizens Advice – an adviser will discuss your options.

Other help you can get.

If you are on a higher disability rate you may also be able to apply for a car, mobility scooter, or powered wheelchair.

If you’re eligible for a bus or rail pass, you might also be able to get:

It’s also worth checking you’re getting all the benefits you’re entitled to – you can use our benefits checker to easily find out.

Final Thoughts From The Editor

Remember you should get what you are entitled to and councils will not make it easy for you otherwise everyone would be doing it.

You have to stand up for your rights or have someone that can appeal on your behalf.

With this said my daughter who has multiple sclerosis and has relapsed, thus is starting her round of treatment of Lemtrada Alemtuzamab on the 4th of July 2022 and finds it hard to walk long distances is in receipt of Personal Independence Payments. Her review for PIP has been postponed and keeps being postponed every 3 months. I am my daughter’s carer and find that this is causing unnecessary stress for my daughter and I have cited that stress can cause people with multiple sclerosis to relapse.

I will come back with an update once I hear back from our local council regarding my daughter’s bus pass. I am finding organizations from Blue Chip Companies to Government Offices either are not fully trained when it comes to the consequences of their actions. A person who is relapsing does not want added stress to further make their illness any worse and God forbid become bedridden.

I have been on the Cardiff Council Travel Website: https://portal.tfw.wales/en/disabled There is no page that says for customers to appeal. I then proceeded to by phoning them and completely forgot the question I needed for this site (cognitive impairment) 🤣😂 although went on to mention my daughter and the woman I spoke to said that nothing was received from my daughter. She also said it is the council’s decision and not theirs, excuse me you are an agency part of the council.

Cardiff Council email address: travelcards@tfw.wales

Cardiff Council phone number: 03003 034 240 Monday to Friday: 09:00 – 17:00

Evidence shows that stress can be a contributing factor to causing relapses in Multiple Sclerosis patients, which can have a bidirectional relationship.

UPDATE 05/07/22

Email Received 05/07/22

Email Content.

Hope you are well.

I regret to inform you that unfortunately, your daughter does not qualify for the Disabled Concessionary Bus Pass. As an organization, we are only able to approve applicants that score the points specified below on one or more of the following descriptors.

Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Personal Independence Payment (PIP) Statement of Entitlement, which shows: Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Disability Living Allowance (DLA) award letter, which gives details of a Higher Rate Mobility Component (HRMC) award.

8 or more points under Descriptor 7 “Communicating Verbally”; or
12 points under Descriptor 11 “Planning and Following a Journey”; or
8 or more points under Descriptor 12 “Moving Around”.

Please note:  The PIP descriptors and their individual scores MUST NOT be added together. Unfortunately, as an organization, we are unable to carry out individual assessments, however, in this instance, I would recommend getting in touch with your local authority, who will be able to carry out an assessment to clarify if she is eligible for the pass.

Hopefully, this gives some reassurance that there are options that you are able to explore

My Comments.

The above email is inaccurate because the last time my daughter had an assessment was in 2018 and since then she has lapsed twice. My daughter has since done an online assessment test which states she has between 15 & 19 points.

Despite sending in multiple emails including my daughter’s PIP award they have had the audacity to decline my daughter a bus pass.

She is currently in hospital having Lemtrada Alemtuzumab treatment for her Multiple Sclerosis as she has relapsed and this is causing her unnecessary emotional distress which could lead to further relapses.

“If it is found that my daughter relapses again because of the stress this is causing her, somebody should be held responsible”.

Update 07/07/22

As my daughter’s carer, I am shocked at how I have been given the runaround. Transport for Wales wrote to both my daughter and me in an email stating that she was not entitled to a bus pass because she did not have enough points.

I explained since the last assessment she has since relapsed and just come out of hospital for her treatment yesterday. So any changes will not be reflected. It is as if the arse does not know what the elbow is doing because when I phoned the number that ‘Transport For Wales’ gave me (which was the switchboard for Cardiff City Council) I was then re-directed back to ‘Transport For Wales’ who told me it was Cardiff City Council Hub-Team that I needed to speak to. I then phoned the number again and was told I had to phone 02920871071 which I did, who then told me I had to speak with the Library. I spoke with the hub/library two days ago and I was sent out an application form even though my daughter already filled one in?

We have submitted all the relevant information by email and we are simply getting the runaround. I finally got an email address advicehub@cardiff.gov.uk yet the hub two days ago said they do not have email addresses, yet today the number I phoned told me to go to the library (as if I am going to shut down my business to take time out is hilarious and beyond unbelievable 😂🤣)… and miraculously they found an email address 😂🤣.

According to ‘Transport For Wales’, my daughter is ‘NOT DISABLED ENOUGH’ to be entitled to a bus pass, even though she has ‘MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS’ and has relapsed.

My Daughters’ PIP Test States She Has 15 -19 Points: https://disabledentrepreneur.uk/zenas-pip-self-test/ contrary to her last assessment that was done a few years ago and since then she has relapsed twice and has just finished treatment. https://disabledentrepreneur.uk/zenas-online-journal-alemtuzumab/

I said in mid-flow of the conversation that this is to do with Government purse strings and the guy I spoke to had not got a clue what I was talking about (I have no words 😂🤣 ).

The criteria are as follows:

(One needs twelve points to qualify).

What the points criteria do not mention is:

(Conveniently)…

Do you experience:

  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Suicidal Thoughts
  • Intrusive Thoughts
  • Cognitive Impairment
  • Loss of Balance
  • Insomnia
  • Experience Pain
  • Numbness
  • Experience Light Headiness
  • Confusion
  • Lack of Concentration
  • Social Disconnection
  • Forgetfulness

I will update you once again once I get a response from the Advice Hub.

“I dread to think about what the stress could potentially do to someone with progressive autoimmune disease”.

I could feel myself blowing a gasket never mind someone with multiple sclerosis who has literally come out of hospital for treatment because of a relapse.

British Gas Meter Readings.

British Gas Meter Readings.

Warning: Reality Check for Utility Providers, the whole of the UK is not going to be using the same amount of Gas or Electricity prior to the Price Hikes and therefore do not go by past usage and only go by current usage moving forward. British Gas is purposely putting people in debt.

As a lot of our loyal readers already know I had a bit of a ding dong with British Gas the other day, so bravely today I decided to give them another call. https://disabledentrepreneur.uk/chris-oshea-ceo-of-centrica-and-british-gas-earns-775k-whilst-the-vulnerable-suffer/

Excited at the fact that I had only used 8 units in the last two weeks which equates to £20.07, according to the customer service advisor I spoke to today, yet my payment plan has not changed and is still asking for £190 per month even though I am going to be using £40 worth of Gas moving forward. (See screenshots of my meter readings below).

According to ‘British Gas’, they calculate past data of usage and I have said in the past I had my central heating on 24/7 other than the summer months, but I am going to be using the bare minimum moving forward.

It was like talking to a brick wall and I have been told that perhaps the payment plan would be adjusted in 6 months but not before. This is forcing people to go into debt.

So hypothetically speaking, if my predicted usage will be £40 per month moving forward x 6 months left of this year which would equate to £240 but British Gas wants me to pay £190 per month x 6 months which equates to £1,140, minus what I owe = £368 & usage £240 gives a final total of £532 overpayment.

I suppose the surplus money in their bank making interest is better than it is in yours.

Now the way my plan has been calculated is for the past years’ usage rather than usage in the future even though I have proved it will be lower as I do not plan to cook, use hot water or turn the central heating on.

So today I am still nowhere near closure and it is causing me considerable distress. https://disabledentrepreneur.uk/emotional-distress-compensation/

If what I owe is £368 and say next month’s bill comes to £40 per month based on my new meter reading on the (15/06/22) x 3 months = £120 + £368 = £488 that I would owe and if British Gas wants £190 x 3 months = £570, that would mean I would overpay £82.00

Yet they are saying “the computer says no” scenario ‘Little Britain’ quote.

I also asked the question today about what support they have for mental health and the vulnerable and this is what I was told:

  • A payment plan (which we cannot agree on and they refuse to spread over 36 months but in the past they have). This is intimidation.
  • A pre-payment meter (that is for people who cannot pay on time and I refuse to have one for health reasons – read the following: https://disabledentrepreneur.uk/how-safe-are-smart-meters-for-your-health/
  • The Charity ‘British Gas Trust’ is a joke and I would not waste time donating or asking for donations because British Gas does not support the vulnerable, (notice I am not giving this company a backlink in this article).
  • Contact Stepchange which is a third-party charity and is not exactly supported by British Gas, they give financial advice because I advertise Stepchange.org on my useful links page.

So their support for me personally is as useful as a chocolate fireguard.

It was further confirmed that British Gas does not support people with Mental Health other than what has been mentioned above.

This is how condescending companies are because I did not agree to the £190, British Gas expects me to get financial advice “hello, is anyone listening? I do not need financial advice”. I know what my usage is going to be moving forward.

This is what Citizens Advice says: https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/consumer/energy/energy-supply/get-help-paying-your-bills/getting-extra-support-from-your-energy-supplier/ May I also add nothing in the following PDF was offered to me other than what I have listed above.

How-energy-companies-can-support-people-who-are-struggling-this-winter_-good-practice-guide-for-energy-suppliers-and-networks-V.6-March-21

I also stated I need to keep my home warm in the winter months to prevent black mold from growing as my daughter has Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and if I cannot afford to pay the astronomical prices British Gas’ is charging and I fail to turn my heating on which would cause a domino effect and my daughter relapsed from the ‘Black Mold Spores’, then someone would have to be held accountable.

Like I said in my article yesterday “if you do not have the extra money, to begin with, how are you supposed to find the extra money to pay the greedy corporate companies that make a profit on the back of your vulnerabilities”?

Below are screenshots of the meter readings.

Meter Reading 31/05/22

Meter Reading 15/06/22

When I pay this company off I am going to switch providers and not recommend this provider to anyone. If any utility company refuses to spread the costs with affordable payment plans and is unreasonable with zero support for your disabilities then you should take action.

They should at least offer you breathing space to give you the time to find the money. I have proven with photographic evidence that my usage is now going to be lower.

I begrudge helping a company that makes money off me or anyone else in a vulnerable position and who is disabled. If I thought any company was worth a good review and marketing I would consider partnering with them, but I do not in this case because they have caused emotional distress which in turn has made my mental health worse.

The UK Is On ‘The Brink Of Starvation’ 2022

“If you have no extra money, to begin with, no amount of financial advice is going to get you out of the debt the governments and big corporations have landed you in”.

The UK Is On ‘The Brink Of Starvation’ 2022.

It was predicted during lockdown 3 million people were on the verge of starvation according to ‘The Financial Times but now we are on a whole new level of people starving due to the price hikes of the cost of living.

My question is: “if you do not have money, to begin with, how are you supposed to pay for the cost of living price rises”?

Vulnerable People Are On The Brink Of Starvation.

If you have no assets to sell how are you supposed to pay off your debts?

This article should be shared everywhere so that the powers that be, realize that people like the elderly, the disabled, and people on low incomes simply cannot manage to survive.

If people who do not have savings and live pay cheque to pay cheque how can the government and the large corporations expect people to pay more than is physically possible when they increase prices? The Bank of England has just announced today they are increasing interest rates to help with inflation. How is increasing further hikes going to help people living on the breadline or below?

The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer.

It is all very well to say the government is investing £15 Billion into helping with the cost of living, but it is all smoke and mirrors because that does not stop the creditors and utility companies chasing the vulnerable and does give an IMMEDIATE effect on the people that need the help the most.

Something needs to be put in place immediately, not next month or the month after, but it needs to be put in place now!

“People Need Help Today Not Tomorrow”!

A U-turn by the government will see oil and gas firms help pay an additional 25 percent windfall tax on profits to help pay for fresh measures to support households with soaring energy bills. Yet the energy companies such as ‘British Gas’ for example are still charging extortionate prices.

I am not saying this is impacting UK alone this is a global crisis but I have to speak for the people in the UK as this is where I reside.

Six months ago, UN World Food Program President David Beasley issued a “one time appeal to billionaires to help fight famine,” which explained that if the world’s richest people donated a mere $6.6 billion of their collective $13.1 trillion in wealth (or 0.04 percent of the total), world hunger could be eliminated in 2022 and millions of lives could be saved.

So shame on all the rich that do not do enough and I am sure God or Allah or if you believe in any higher power, your fate will be decided for you in your next life and you will reap what you sow!

FOOD FOR THOUGHT!

To all the Politicians, Millionaires, Billionaires & Royalty of this world, why hoard your money when you could be helping society? Afterall we came into this world with nothing and we will leave with nothing. You cannot take your wealth with you. You do not know what happens when you die. You may be reborn and have to live a life in poverty – Karma!

“What person has the right to make another person unhappy? We are all supposed to live in harmony with one another and love thy neighbor but we have made this world a very evil place, and people should not have their mental well-being affected or lose lives through war and famine because of greed”. How can the people responsible for this, be able to sleep soundly at night?

MENTAL HEALTH & RISK OF SUICIDE.

‘It screws with an already vulnerable mind’: How the cost of living crisis is affecting the nation’s mental health. Soaring bills and a lack of support from the government are causing ‘huge pressure’ for people with mental health problems. Socioeconomic disadvantage or living in an area of socioeconomic deprivation increases the risk of suicidal behaviour. https://www.samaritans.org/wales/about-samaritans/research-policy/inequality-suicide/

Chris O’Shea CEO of Centrica & British Gas Earns £775K Whilst The Vulnerable Suffer.

Chris O’Shea CEO of Centrica & British Gas Earns £775K Whilst The Vulnerable Suffer.

Centrica CEO Chris O’Shea has a salary of £775,000 per year and waives a £1.1 Million Bonus. His decision came as gas and electricity prices are set to soar by more than 50% for 22 million households across the UK in April.

Centrica said British Gas Energy saw a 44% jump in profits to £118 million last year. Citation.

** (The following is just my opinion and not fact). However one needs to look at the bigger picture if there is a board of directors for argument’s sake there are 12 as the pdf below suggests, and some not all are on a payroll (Non-executive directors are not directly employed), but that is not to say they do not get commissions or donations) and if each one has received £250K (hypothesis) per annum, that would be £2.75M, you have to ask yourself this question who works for nothing... https://boardappointments.co.uk/uk-non-executive-director-remuneration/

Biographies-Centrica

How can you pay for increased prices if you do not have the money, to begin with?

I first would like to add I actually give this company free advertising space on my useful links page under the heading charities and on this page. (Backlinks Cost Money)!! Advertising was requested by British Gas in May.

I would like to introduce myself, I am the Editor of ‘Disability UK -Disabled Entrepreneur Journal’. I am a Businesswoman and Author. I suffer from Cerebellar Atrophy Cognitive Impairment, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Depression. My Disabilities do not define me and I am not afraid to say I have them. I am also a carer for my daughter who has ‘Multiple Sclerosis’.

I have indeed contacted ‘The British Gas Charity’ which is a joke (application Number 1035904). I filled in the form and submitted my meter reading and documentation. They said it would take 10 days for someone to approve my application (that was on the 31st of May 2022) and it did not surprise me that they never responded.

It is all smoke and mirrors because if the majority of people in Britain with British Gas are in turmoil, I do not think they have endless amounts of money to give away. So their charity is not worth the web space.

I am a genuine case and for them to not even respond says a lot about them. (Try them out for yourself if you are a British Gas Customer, but do not get your hopes up).

In turn, I said I have a donation page on my site, I continued to say how about everyone in British Gas pays £1.00, and that would go to paying off my debt, the woman (Valencia I believe) I spoke to said that will never happen, yet I am supposed to advertise this company to my readers, and get nothing in return? Better still, how about the CEO Chris O’Shea pay off my debt seeing as I am advertising for free and they wasted two and half hours of time where I could have been working and caused me ‘Emotional Distress’!!!

https://britishgasenergytrust.org.uk/

(Help With Utility Bills)

Now if a company has profits into the millions then they should take into account vulnerable people which they do not.

After being prompted to phone British Gas because I was being spammed 6 times by this number: 03332029470, (this is harassment) I took it upon myself to phone and complain. The phone call today lasted 2hrs 18 mins (see screenshot).

The original number that phoned me was (03332029470) to set up a smart meter and I had to justify why I do not want one which I have written previously about: https://disabledentrepreneur.uk/how-safe-are-smart-meters-for-your-health/ The customer representative technical department went on to say they would send someone to my home to ask me why I do not want one. Good Luck to anyone visiting as I am not allowing anyone over my threshold. The woman I spoke to said that because I had submitted a meter reading my monthly bill which was at the beginning of the year £65 rose to £90 in April, then rose again to £138 in May, and wait for this rose again today to £190 per month.

£190 Per Month Gas Payments!

I started crying (no word of a lie), I told the operative that the most I can afford is £100 per month and she point blank refused to help spread the costs over 36 months.

She continued to say that my usage is a prediction….well before the meter reading I had my central heating on 24/7 as I have black mold and my daughter who has multiple sclerosis cannot be around the spores, so I need to keep the house warm.

I said my life is not important whilst my daughter is and I said it was unreasonable and unfair to make me pay £190 when I cannot afford to do so right now.

(Obviously, the woman does not know how to count because if I paid £100 already this month and I still owe £333 (1st quarter) and each quarter after that was £400 for argument’s sake that would be £1,600 per annum divided by 12 months = £133 per month and not £190). I am going to bring this up when I submit my new meter reading.

This woman simply did not care what I was saying.

I also said if I cannot afford to heat my home and the black mold spreads I can then sue British Gas if my daughter relapses again. She did not like what I said.

She gave me a complaint reference number: 8013807386

I said, “if I killed myself British Gas would not get a single penny from me”... My point was, do not push people over the edge, not that I was actually going to do it, there is a difference!

My Mental Health.

In my defense, I am NOT feeling suicidal just emotionally distressed, this is why I have an online journal where I can vent my anger and make my opinions known. I have a lot going for me and I feel for people who do not have a strong mind as I have, I see myself as their voice if they cannot defend themselves.

I use this platform to speak on behalf of people like myself or people worse off than me.

With social media, you may be restricted to what you can and can’t say. But on your own platform, you are in full control. Although I use social media to spread the articles I write.

I have a lot to live for, unbeknown to the people that are too ignorant to find out but are too quick to judge.

I mentioned this website multiple times “www.disabilityuk.co.uk” which forwards to “www.disabledentrepreneur.uk” in the phone call as I knew it was being recorded. I did it purposely so that people realize who I am. I will not stand for intimidation from anyone of any kind.

I just wanted British Gas to be empathic which they were not.

Duty Of Care.

What made me laugh was at the end of the call she said it was a duty of care for her to report me to the authorities because I mentioned the dreaded “If I kill myself”. She did not want any repercussions. It was not that she cared. People do not care unless it directly affects them. She did not want ‘British Gas’ to be in the news and I guess they are told if a customer says anything that is a red flag to report it. In other words, she has kicked the can down the road, so nothing happened on her watch.

Bring it on is all I can say because this will cause a domino effect and open up a can of worms.

In fact, I reached out to my GP in a letter over my mental health that was put on the system last year but was never actioned by any doctor.

According to the practice manager, Doctors are too busy to respond to emails or letters even though my daughter’s Neurologist who is also a Professor at Oxford University has the time and decency to respond to my daughter’s emails.

My time does not matter to anyone.

I have another day wasted rather than working, I have had to fart around having to waste nearly two and half hours of my precious time to get nowhere.

Let’s see what the media will say when I send this to every corner of the planet.

British Gas Has Caused Me Emotional & Psychological Distress!

Debt Recovery

Let the fun begin because if ‘British Gas’ decide to try and come after me and they use harassment tactics I am fully armed. Besides I plan to pay them off next month.

This would not be the first time they have been sued and I doubt it will be the last.

https://www.standard.co.uk/business/how-british-gas-ended-up-in-court-for-being-too-heavyhanded-with-customers-6878749.html

I mentioned the National Debt Line: https://www.nationaldebtline.org/fact-sheet-library/gas-and-electricity-arrears-ew/ and said that Utility Companies have to adhere to rules such as and the woman said my circumstances do not apply and it would be impossible to give me breathing space:

Vulnerability

People can be vulnerable for a wide range of reasons. Vulnerability can be linked to age, physical health, mental health, or going through a difficult time in life. A vulnerability could be temporary or ongoing. You should let your supplier know if there is anything about your circumstances that makes you vulnerable as they may offer you more support if they know this.

You should also check if your supplier has signed up for the Energy UK Vulnerability Commitment. Energy UK is a trade association. Suppliers signed up to the Vulnerability Commitment have said they will provide extra support to vulnerable customers. This includes:

  • Make sure staff have an understanding of vulnerability and can identify that you might be in vulnerable circumstances;
  • Give you an alternative way of contacting them in addition to phone contact;
  • Provide a freephone number if you are in financial difficulty and they think it is appropriate; and
  • Make sure you have paper versions of your bill if this is what you need.

This is a B#ll Sh#t because the woman today did not provide any of the above.

Furthermore, she refused to co-operate by turning the onus on me that I am not co-operating by not agreeing to pay £190 per month.

British Gas is having a laugh.

I said if it means I do not use hot water to bathe and not cook as well as not heating my home although I cannot see it being cold for a few months then that is what I will have to do. (This is degrading and affecting one’s quality of life).

I reiterated that I would be writing about British Gas on this website and “I quote the woman saying “we do not have anything to do with disabilities”.

I had zero support for my daughter and me who both have mental and physical disabilities.

This is what is stated on their website say: https://www.britishgas.co.uk/energy/help-if-youre-struggling-to-pay.html

Zero Support.

They have clearly not helped and made matters worse by causing emotional distress which is (tort). Emotional distress can be taken to court. https://disabledentrepreneur.uk/emotional-distress-compensation/

The moment I can pay this company off I am going to switch providers and will never recommend this company to anyone. They have an affiliate program which means they want help with marketing, so any affiliate marketers should avoid this company. By coincidence ‘British Gas’ are advertisers on Awin who I use for my affiliate marketing projects. Saying this I will never promote this company actively even though I have them listed on my useful links page and mentioned them in my article indirectly.

May I add that they never responded to my letter attachment in the email which had an auto-responder come back that they had in fact received my correspondence on the 28th of May 2022 but chose to ignore it?

Condenscending and Intimidating.

People working for these large blue-chip companies should keep their tone neutral, and opinions to themselves they should not be biased.

The woman (Valencia) I spoke to said I should look at stepchange.org I explained I am fully aware of my rights and she became condescending demanding I tell her what they said.

I am not going to allow you to browbeat me as this woman was trying to do.

My gut feeling is they have calculated my meter reading of what I owed prior to the price hike to the new prices to make more money.

I will be posting my new meter reading on here tomorrow including the one on the 31st and will see if my reading goes up again.

**I have published this page but may update it with more information, as when I get any updates from British Gas who emailed me today and said they had deadlocked my complaint, according to ‘Valencia’. As far as I am concerned it is not over until ‘the fat lady sings, in other words, it is a colloquialism that is often used as a proverb. It means that one should not presume to know the outcome of an event that is still in progress. More specifically, the phrase is used when a situation is nearing its conclusion.

So please come back for more updates.

Meter Reading 31/05/22
Meter Reading 15th June 2022

I am now going to be a thorn in British Gas’s side and every month I will be doing a meter reading.

Will I be pursuing “Emotional Distress Compensation” of course I will, and this is what you should do if you too feel you have become unwell because of any company.

https://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/consumers/expect/compensation-for-distress-or-inconvenience

https://disabledentrepreneur.uk/emotional-distress-compensation/

Did yesterday’s (14/06/22) fiasco cause me emotional distress, and did British Gas treat me badly of course they did and this is not over until I say it is regardless of their deadlock narcissistic letter.

If you are in a similar position to me, it is not the end of the world and there is a solution to every problem.

If you feel suicidal call the Samaritans 116 123 (UK) or visit A&E – (UK) / ER – (USA) or call the Emergency Services 999 (UK) / 911 (USA).

On that note, I did get a welfare check from the Police albeit it was seven hours after my initial phone call to British Gas had ended and guess what the Police said they were on my side and agreed that the CEO needs to be aware of this as they are getting a lot of calls like the one they received about me.

Stay safe and do not let these companies bully you.

It is not your fault that the greedy people blue-chip companies, at the top of the food chain like P#tin, and the Banks, Governments, and Large Corporations want to milk every last penny out of you.

UPDATE 15/06/22

I have received two emails from British Gas and a letter regarding my complaint despite me saying I do not want letters in the post. (How to kill the planet with carbon emissions).

So they have disregarded my new meter reading which is calculated as follows and are not supporting people with mental health or disabilities, let the fun begin because I am going to be messaging the CEO directly:

Below is the email that was sent to me:

Total disregard for my new meter reading and disabilities.

Here are the calculations per unit as per the British Gas Website:

FINAL THOUGHTS

Ironically ‘British Gas’ will report you as “Duty of Care” if you happen to say something out of turn to make them look better but in the next breath disregard your disabilities and worst-case scenario cut off your supply.

People who are vulnerable especially old people may not turn on the heating or cook a hot meal in order to make sure their energy bills do not increase.

So although ‘British Gas’ may come across as they are helping it is all smoke and mirrors and they do not care about your well-being and would much rather pass the buck.

The other joke is why not reach out to organizations that specialize in financial difficulty. If you already know your financial circumstances and do not have the extra money, to begin with, no amount of juggling will pay off your debt and all you will be left with is to sell your assets if you have any or go bankrupt.

Maybe if everyone were to go bankrupt nationwide the Government would do something about it or maybe this is the end goal where no one owns anything (the great reset)?

https://www.weforum.org/great-reset/

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Reset

I am not sure what the hidden agenda is but if vulnerable people do not get the help then unfortunately there is going to become a bigger problem.

Nobody should live in poverty, not in the 21st Century, and not have a good quality of life. People should NOT be killed because of W#rs. W#ars are big business to the people on top of the food chain. If world leaders have no regard for human life by starting w#ars, what chances have the rest of us got? I am sorry but if any country starts a w#r where people will be killed it just shows they do not care about humans in general. Nobody should die to help the 1% richer.

If the cost of living is the cause of the increase in mental health then powers that be that are responsible for the demise need to be made accountable.

I Nearly Died Due To Losing My Balance Because Of Cerebellar Atrophy.

Can stress cause your cerebellar atrophy to get worse?

The link between the cerebellum is connected with stress-related brain areas and expresses the machinery required to process stress-related neurochemical mediators.

As most of my readers already know I suffer from ‘Cerebellar Atrophy’. Other than jumbling my letters and words up when I am writing (thank God for Grammarly) and occasionally memory loss, hence I have to jot things down to help me remember, I also have noticed lately an increase in loss of balance.

In fact ironically with what I am about to tell you, just over a year ago I did have a similar episode where I fell down five steps landing on my back and being severely bruised (I do not recall feeling lightheaded at the time just lost my footing). I made sure my doctor (GP) was notified in the letter I wrote that was confirmed was put on the system but no one in the surgery took any action.

However, on 10/06/22 being home alone I was at the top of the stairs and all of a sudden my whole body started to give way. Not only did I feel very lightheaded and the room was spinning, but I also could not balance properly and could feel my body about to hurtle down a flight of stairs. Fortunately, I grabbed hold of the central support pillar to help me break my fall. Had I not stopped myself I would not be writing this post today.

Research suggests people who suffer from psychological stress are more prone to having their condition worsen.

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31348932/

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4419550/

Analyzing why this happened to me yesterday all I can put it down to is I am under a lot of pressure. With the rise in the cost of living and having to also run a business, I am really feeling a financial pinch.

I actually wrote what to do if you are finding it hard to pay your bills, you should not run away from the problem but instead tackle it head-on. I also wrote that some creditors will be condescending and intimidating and what one should do if this happens. https://disabledentrepreneur.uk/creditor-harassment-mental-health/

By coincidence taking a leaf out of my own book, I wrote to all the utility companies and my creditors offering to pay anything I owe in affordable installments. All the utility companies and one of the creditors were all understanding and seemed to all accept my offer Barr one who as it happens I owe the least of money to and no word of a lie has written to me 22 emails to date repeating the same things over and over again. As it is my understanding either multiple people are dealing with one account and not updating one another or they are trying to intimidate me to pay more. I have since written a 10-page letter which took me all day to do and no doubt I will be getting email #23 soon.

My utility bills at the beginning of the year were £154 per month in April they rose to £219 and have risen again to £412. Now here is the question where does one find an extra £267 per month if you do not have that sort of money, to begin with?

So I wrote to all my creditors and explained the situation and all have agreed on my offer and the most I pay is £239

It has riled me that every day I get one or two emails from this one creditor (V) and every day I cannot move forward because I always have this nagging conscious feeling that I need to reply.

They are purposely trying to break me down and they leave me no choice but to report them to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

They have caused me considerable emotional and psychological distress.

https://disabledentrepreneur.uk/emotional-distress/

https://disabledentrepreneur.uk/emotional-distress-compensation/

If it was not for the fact I am pushing myself to fight this battle I could easily have just given up, turned to alcohol, drugs, or worse.

If you are feeling down and are in a similar position to me DO NOT TURN TO Alcohol, Drugs Smoking, etc, instead seek medical advice through your doctor and professional advice immediately. Here is our useful links page.

You should not suffer alone and millions of people are in the same boat as you.

There is a solution to every problem. Stand your ground and never let anyone intimidate or harass you as I have experienced lately.

Write to your creditors on headed paper rather than just email. Provide them with a breakdown of your expenses. This one creditor never sent me a form similar to the one I have designed below, just bombarded me with daily questions.

According to the harassing creditor (V) they claimed they could not have asked all the questions in one email and in my reply I sent them the form below arguing that if a solicitor or governing body writes to you they do not send multiple emails they send one email and or one letter. 22 emails and counting is harassment and is designed to break you down.

I have a sample template of a form you can send your utility companies and creditors. I can customize it for you, make it editable, and remove any watermarks.

ALPHA-TEMPLATE-edit

I do not drink alcohol as a rule as it has landed me in heaps of embarrassment and trouble many times in the past doing stupid things and am just happy drinking my energy drinks, but this company (V) which shall remain nameless for now is harassing me and that is against the law, consequently making my illness worse.

I have been meaning to update the GP surgery on my health conditions for a while now and have not found the time, but even if my illness worsens I am not going to get treatment, tests, infusions, etc like my daughter is getting. She is 21 and she can make her decisions but I have my own views which I will leave for another day.

Do contact us if you want the customized form in this article using the form below, **please note we may consider sending the form to you (free of charge) if you are experiencing financial difficulty, however, our business information (Disability UK -Disabled Entrepreneur will be in the footer. Black Mold & Multiple Sclerosis Connection.

New Study Shows Mold Triggers Brain Inflammation and can cause Multiple Sclerosis.

Black mold is dangerous and living in conditions where spores are present can lead to serious health conditions. Often people do not put two and two together and realize that their health has declined to poor living conditions.

Estimates vary, but in the US studies have shown up to 85 percent of building inspected had past water damage.

A new study found that people affected by mold illness experienced:

  • Brain inflammation in the hippocampus is the area of the brain that governs memory, learning, and the sleep-wake cycle.
  • Decreased neurogenesis, or the formation of new brain cells.
  • Impaired memory.
  • Increased sensitivity to pain.
  • Increased anxiety.

https://carolinatotalwellness.com/blog/index.php/2020/01/13/new-study-shows-mold-triggers-brain-inflammation/

Can dampness and mold affect my health?

The presence of mold in your home most definitely can cause you to become chronically ill. Dampness and mold are more likely to cause respiratory problems and autoimmune disorders as well as respiratory infections, allergies, or asthma.

Damp and mold can also affect the immune system which can cause multiple sclerosis and other immune disorders.

Who’s affected?

Some people are more susceptible than others, including:

  • babies and children
  • elderly people
  • those with existing skin problems, such as eczema
  • those with respiratory problems, such as allergies and asthma
  • those with a weakened immune system, such as those having chemotherapy, Lemtrada Alemtuzumab.

These people should stay away from dampness and mold.

How does it affect your health?

Molds produce allergens (substances that can cause an allergic reaction), irritants, and, sometimes, toxic substances.

Inhaling or touching mold spores may cause an allergic reaction, such as sneezing, a runny nose, red eyes, and skin rash. Molds can also cause asthma attacks.

By coincidence, asthma is something the tenant below me suffered from before moving out and ironically my daughter has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I highly doubt this to be a coincidence.

Causes of damp and mold

Mold and dampness are caused by excess moisture, such as poorly heated homes, and old houses. Moisture in buildings can be caused by leaking pipes, rising damp in basements or ground floors, or rain seeping in because of damage to the roof or around wooden window frames, which are single-glazed.

“So when the gas company stated I use more gas than the average household, it is to try and keep my home warm to stop the condensation from forming more mold which is a health hazard”.

Simply saying wash it down with hot soapy water and bleach it, is just a temporary measure because it will eventually come back. Besides the spores can be airborne and you may not necessarily see you have a problem until they start growing on your walls, windows, and furniture.

A newly built home may be damp if the water used when building it is still drying out – for example, in the plaster on the walls.

Excess moisture indoors can also be caused by condensation. Having your landlord tell you to open a window to release the condensation is not practical especially if it is cold and raining outside and in the winter months.

You must access where the mold or dampness is coming from and why you have excess moisture in your home. When you know what’s causing the dampness, you can make sure your home is repaired or take steps to limit the moisture in the air.

Remember if you live on a rented property, always take photographs of the mold and the damage to your personal belongings. This is particularly important for litigation evidence.

When removing the mold listening to your landlord advising you to wash it down with soapy water is a health hazard because he/she is telling you to deal with the problem rather than him/her dealing with it themselves.

If you have been diagnosed with autoimmune disease whilst living in a property covered with black mold there may be grounds to sue your landlord/lady, especially if you have made them aware of the issue and they have done nothing about it.

If the area of the mold is large you may need to get a professional to remove the mold for you, but if it’s only a small amount you may be able to remove it yourself, providing you are in good health. if your landlord/lady insists you deal with the mold by washing it down with bleach and soapy water and they are aware you have health issues you have grounds for litigation.

https://www.nhs.uk/common-health-questions/lifestyle/can-damp-and-mould-affect-my-health/

Invasive Mold Infections

People, especially those with weakened immune systems, can develop invasive mold infections days to weeks after exposure to fungi that live in the environment.

Exposure to indoor mold that grows as a result of water damage may increase this risk.

These infections are:

  • Rare
  • Typically caused by Aspergillus, but can also be caused by other types of mold, such as mucormycosis
  • Difficult to diagnose
  • Often life-threatening

Risk Factors

These include people who:

  • Have had a transplant, especially hematopoietic stem cell transplants
  • Have cancer, especially hematologic cancers like leukemia and lymphoma
  • Are undergoing cancer treatment (chemotherapy)
  • Are taking medications that weaken the immune system, such as corticosteroids and biologics

Signs and Symptoms

Signs and symptoms can vary depending on the patient, the type of mold, and the part of the body affected, but often include the following:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Night sweats
  • Weight loss
  • Shortness of breath
  • Sinus symptoms
  • Dark scabs, blisters, or ulcers on the skin
  • Autoimmune Disorders
  • Brain Inflammation
  • Asthma
  • Skin Problems such as eczema
  • Respitorary problems

Diagnosis and Treatment

Diagnosing an invasive mold infection requires multiple diagnostic tests. The results of these tests should be interpreted in the context of each specific patient. These tests include:

  • Culture of specimens from the affected area (such as bronchoalveolar lavage [BAL]), which is often used to detect lung infections)
  • Biopsy of the suspected body part affected to obtain a sample for fungal culture and histopathology
  • Imaging of the affected part of the body (e.g., chest computed tomography [CT] for respiratory symptoms)
  • Blood tests (such as Aspergillus galactomannan), which are primarily used in immunocompromised patients

Starting treatment early can help prevent deaths.

Treatment includes antifungal medications and, in some cases, urgent surgery.

Consider consulting an infectious diseases specialist to help with diagnosis and treatment.

Prevention and Patient Resources

After major flooding or other exposure to water damage and mold, talk with your immunocompromised patients about how to protect themselves from mold:

  • Mold grows where there is moisture, usually within 24-48 hours of flooding. Even if it is not visible, it is often present.
  • Immunocompromised people should not enter moldy buildings or help clean up the mold.
    • If it is impossible for people with weakened immune systems to avoid a moldy building, they should talk with their doctor and consider wearing an N-95 respirator inside the building. Remind patients that this will still not fully protect them from becoming exposed to mold, but may reduce their risk.
  • If there is mold in your patient’s home, someone who is healthy and able should clean it up and fix any water problems.
  • Healthy people who clean up mold or spend time in areas affected by mold should wear full protective clothing including an N95 respirator, gloves, boots, long pants, and long sleeves. An N95 respirator alone may not fully protect people from becoming exposed to mold and becoming sick.

Mental Health Journey & Cost Of Living.

Keep your business moving forward

Mental Health Journey & Cost Of Living.

GP Malpractice.

It has been a year since I wrote the letter to my GP (General Practionioner – Medical Doctor) and a year on, I never had a reply.

I gathered that after sending the ‘letter’, that was addressed to a particular GP that she no longer works at the surgery yet other copies of letters addressed to my daughter from consultants from the hospital still mention this GP as the recipient.

This tells me there is a serious breakdown of communication where a hospital does not know that the GP they are sending a letter to does not actually work at that practice.

Moving on I am about to write another follow-up letter to the Head General Practitioner in the same way as I did a year ago and will cite that my health has progressively worsened because of their lack of care.

I wrote about my ordeal and posted an article last November 2021 on “Cardiff Solicitors’ Website”. It is too long-winded to explain here but I have evidence of Medical Malpractice.

I do not envisage getting a reaction from the Surgery unless I start making waves.

At the moment I am not in a good frame of mind to start anything with anyone as I have more pressing things to contend with (the cost of living crisis).

What concerns me is that there must be other people just like me in similar situations that have been failed by the NHS system and are also worried about the price rises and the cost of living.

NHS Short Staff.

According to “The BMJ Opinion site” General practices nationally are at breaking point. This basically suggests that the problem started because of Covid. Primary care is rightly called the “Bedrock of the NHS”.

GPs are seen as the “gatekeepers” to the NHS. Therefore when patients struggle to see their GP, work spills into unscheduled care settings including the emergency department, leading to inappropriate attendance and use of hospital services.

Yet what is not addressed is the vulnerable, the elderly, and the people with mental health disorders are affected the most, and left untreated can escalate to more serious problems.

How many people are seriously unwell because of the Doctor’s lack of care?

It is ok to blame this on bad management or the demise of health care professionals on red tape but at the end of the day, it is the public that is suffering at the hands of the NHS and our Government.

Not once was I offered an online consultation.

If the practice manager read my letter and logged it on my medical records she should have brought it to a doctor’s attention and flagged it, yet she was arrogant and decided to take things into her own hands by not making any doctor at that practice aware of the letter and I quote “doctors are too busy to reply to emails” yet my daughter’s Neurologist who is a Professor at Rockwood hospital who also lectures at Oxford University makes the time to reply to my daughter’s emails personally and he is far more educated and superior than a normal run of the mill (GP) doctor.

Both the British Medical Association (BMA) and the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) recently acknowledged that GPs around the country is exhausted by the increasing pressures from the pandemic, struggling with a toxic combination of increasing patient demands, poor retention, and a depleting workforce.

Yet it is said that GP teams are now more accessible than ever due to digital platforms, and online consultations, (yet I have never once been offered a consultation, only asked to phone at 8 am to discuss one problem but at the time I had five), I was not going to make five separate calls, that would be ridiculous so left my health conditions on the back burner but have definitely noticed a deterioration of my health, not only because of the lack of support from my local (GP) general practitioner but also because of the pandemic and the rise of the cost of living.

https://blogs.bmj.com/bmj/2021/05/14/if-general-practice-fails-the-nhs-fails/

Cost of Living Crisis.

I wonder how people can manifest money out of thin air because this is the root of some of my problems, hence am requesting people donate as little as £1.00 to support me and keep this website running.

I mainly rely on advertising and marketing and although I have a lot of visitors to this site that clicks on my affiliate ads, they do not seem to convert into anything, which is frustrating because I am doing everything I can to get business in. Believe it or not, I even went as far as asking our Prime Minister for a job. I figured out that someone would be monitoring his LinkedIn account and would flag my comment. Have I had a reply, well what do you think?

If you were to suggest something to find business, I would most probably have already tried it. People and businesses are not spending because of the rise in the cost of living so I can understand why my affiliate links are not converting.

Creditors.

I have one creditor who is asking the ins and out’s of a cat’s ar#e. I feel humiliated because they do not say their name via email just (the team), and I really do not like sharing too much unless I know who I am talking to.

They did offer to phone me but I declined on the pretense that I am not taking incoming calls. I sent them a letter explaining my circumstances and have not disclosed my true identity or what I actually do.

All I have said is I am a website designer. I have not said I am the editor of this site, I am waiting on their response and it will be interesting what they offer in support of this crisis because it is not my fault the Governments, Banks, the Federal Reserve, and Stockholders have raised inflation because of their deficit spending.

There are hundreds of thousands of people like me in dire straits and I will be documenting my journey here.

I will write about how I have been treated and how it has affected me. I will give credit where credit is due.

We will see how the next couple of months pan out but it looks like my food bill will have to be slashed and I will have to eat the bare minimum to survive.

This is affecting my quality of life.

People of high status such as Royalty, Prime Ministers of this world, are no better than me or you, and I will not bow down to anyone.

They came into this world the same way as me and will leave the same way.

The same goes for people working in organizations and institutions, they are just human beings and should not look down on you as they could be in the same situation as you one day or may have a relative or friend pleading with poverty.

Remember no one on this planet is better than you, although some think that they are. Just because they live in Palaces it is because of history and what their forefathers did in acquiring wealth that makes them sit on their shiny thrones.

The ‘Queen’s Platinum Jubilee’ I am not celebrating although there is going to be a street party on Sunday and although I was invited, I have nothing in common with my neighbors and they do not bother with me all year round so why should I waste my precious time making small talk when I could be busy trying to get business in to pay for my bills?

I have never been patriotic and I am not about to start now. The UK is celebrating the coronation anniversary of a little old lady, whilst in other parts of the world, people are dying. Furthermore, the establishment that bailed Prince Andrew because of his antics is yesterday’s news that people have forgotten.

People are so brainwashed that they cannot see what is going on around them.

Cost of Living Crisis.

It is predicted that businesses will go bust because of inflation.

Rising costs have created a “ticking timebomb” for UK small business owners, the chairman of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has warned, with almost half a million firms at risk of going bust within weeks without a fresh wave of government support.

https://www.theguardian.com/business/2022/may/30/almost-500000-uk-small-businesses-at-risk-of-going-bust-within-weeks?fbclid=IwAR2UpHmsmpxixLdUbOpVEeBBnEDMMpvLZR0P2bu-EZcZ5VVtu3547LYHw-M

I have contacted a charity, and I have written to my creditors.

My Way Coping

I now have my phone turned off constantly. I cannot handle talking to people over the phone with their condescending attitudes.

I did speak to one of the utility companies last month and when I said I was disabled she automatically assumed I was unemployed and when I said “I cannot work for the rest of the day because I am emotionally distressed” she asked what do I do? and when I said I am the Editor of (Disabled Entrepreneur – Disability UK). There was a big pause after that and she then changed her tune. Or the time before when I spoke to someone from the same company, they were harsh and condescending (but what makes me laugh is the auto-recording states they will not tolerate rude customers, obviously one rule for one and not for the other), making me feel humiliated for sharing my personal details with them. Sometimes people take their jobs too seriously and think by not showing empathy is going to score brownie points with their employer. In reality, people may be kind to a certain degree but they do not care, there is a difference. You should not confuse kindness with caring, kindness is a temporary action whilst caring is long-term. https://disabledentrepreneur.uk/why-people-do-not-care/

Now if I were to give feedback on my experience they would most probably defend their corner and say that that is not how their staff treat customers and that it was obviously a one-off encounter and they would try to brush it under the carpet.

Creditors and customer services reps should be understanding, softly spoken, and empathetic, they should not judge you or humiliate you. Because who is to say they may not be in the same situations as you one day. If a customer offers only what they can afford then even if they decided to take legal action to recover all the money the court would see that the customer has made an offer and there would little else that could be done other than to perhaps sell any assets they may have and (in my case I have none). You cannot take blood out of a stone! and pushing people into corners can send them over the edge!

I am trying to stay positive and not let this situation get to me and believe that eventually the tables will be turned for the better.

Nothing can stay in the same place forever and when one door closes another one opens.

I am forever re-inventing myself and starting new projects to drive more business.

I have just had one creditor blank me regarding them giving me some marketing work which just proves a point no one wants to spend and no one cares unless it directly affects them.

I am persistent and will continue fighting.

If you have financial difficulties write your creditors a letter and be honest.

Tell them you are incoming and outgoing and offer to pay them something as this will stand up in a court of law.

Keep copies of all communication, letters, emails, texts, calls, etc.

If you need some advice just drop me a line.
