Calling on Entrepreneurship Among Disabled Business Owners

🧠✨ Research Opportunity: AI & Entrepreneurship Among Disabled Business Owners

Are you a disabled entrepreneur navigating today’s digital playing field with the help of AI tools like ChatGPT? If so, your experience matters, and now, two leading UK universities want to hear from you. In a groundbreaking research initiative led by the University of Manchester and the University of Exeter, researchers are exploring how disabled business owners are using artificial intelligence in both personal and professional contexts. This is your chance to contribute to vital academic work that could help shape a more inclusive future for business, technology, and disabled entrepreneurship.

Are you a disabled entrepreneur who uses AI tools like ChatGPT, even in a small way?

Manchester and Exeter Universities are conducting a new academic research project to explore how AI is being used by Disabled Entrepreneurs, and we would love to hear your perspective.

🔟 Only 10 participants will be selected for this initial phase — act quickly if you’d like to take part!

Would you be willing to spare 20-30 minutes for an academic research project on AI and entrepreneurship among people with disabilities?

We are Associate Professor Hai-Anh Tran from the University of Manchester and Associate Professor Bach Nguyen from the University of Exeter. We are seeking entrepreneurs with disabilities to share their experiences about using AI (e.g., ChatGPT) with us. How do you position AI in your personal and professional life? Do you think it is always efficient and helpful? Do you see any of its drawbacks to you and the community of entrepreneurs with disabilities?

You do not need to be an AI expert or an AI-intensive user. As long as you use AI in some capacity, we would like to hear from you.

Please click on this link https://exe.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bNpWAGnrc1ha0e2 to let us know some of your convenient time slots. We will be in touch soon to arrange an interview.

Your insights and sharing will help shape policymakers and researchers in making AI tools more inclusive for the community of disabled entrepreneurs!

Best wishes,

Dr Hai-Anh Tran hai-anh.tran@manchester.ac.uk

Dr Bach Nguyen b.nguyen@exeter.ac.uk

💬 Why Participate?

Your participation in this research goes far beyond a simple interview, it’s a chance to directly influence how academic institutions, policymakers, and tech developers understand and support the real-world needs of disabled entrepreneurs. By sharing your experiences with AI tools like ChatGPT, you’re helping universities like Manchester and Exeter generate valuable, first-hand insights that are often overlooked in mainstream research. This data will be used to highlight the barriers, opportunities, and practical realities faced by disabled individuals in business. Ultimately, your voice will help shape future innovations in AI, guide inclusive entrepreneurship policies, and ensure that disabled business owners are not only heard but actively included in the evolution of digital technology and business development. Your story has the power to drive change, not just for you, but for an entire community.

  • Your voice can help shape how AI evolves for the disabled business community.
  • The interview takes just 20–30 minutes.
  • You don’t need to be an AI expert, just someone who uses AI in any capacity.
