It’s impossible to overlook the unsettling possibility that behind the veneer of political rhetoric lies an ulterior motive: a desire to save public funds at the expense of the most vulnerable. Just like ableism focuses on discrimination against people with disabilities, caregiver discrimination highlights the challenges and biases faced by those who take on caregiving responsibilities.
