A Christmas Poem: A Disabled Entrepreneur’s Cheer
The snowflakes fall on a quiet street,
Christmas bells ring, a tune so sweet.
In the glow of lights, a story unfolds,
Of courage, hope, and hearts of gold.
Disabled Entrepreneur Disability UK,
A beacon of strength, a guiding ray.
Through trials faced and battles fought,
A brighter tomorrow is dearly sought.
Renata dreams with a fiery spark,
Her passion glowing, lighting the dark.
Advocating for voices often unheard,
Changing the world with every word.
And Zena stands, steadfast and true,
Her heart devoted to all she can do.
Together they pen tales of fight and grace,
Giving hope to those in life’s toughest race.
With All Our Writers, a family bound,
By stories shared and truths profound.
They weave their words, a tapestry bright,
Of justice, love, and the will to fight.
And who should appear, with a dash and a pounce?
Mr. Tibbles the Cat Reporter, ready to announce:
“Good tidings to all, near and afar,
This Christmas, let kindness be your guiding star!”
So here’s to the season, to hope reborn,
To hearts united, no longer torn.
May the world shine brighter, may love be near,
Merry Christmas to all, and a Happy New Year!

A Note From The Editor:
For many, Christmas is a time of joy and togetherness, but it’s important to remember that not everyone is looking forward to the festive season. For some, Christmas brings added pressures and hardships, like financial struggles, also known as Christmas poverty, making it difficult to afford even the basics, let alone gifts or celebrations. Others may face the heartache of grieving a loved one, dealing with a recent breakup, or feeling the weight of loneliness if they don’t have friends or family to share the season with. These challenges can make the holidays feel more isolating than festive.
If you’re finding it hard this Christmas, know that you’re not alone. It’s okay to acknowledge your feelings and take small steps to care for yourself. Treat yourself to something, no matter how small, that brings a little joy or comfort—whether it’s a warm drink, a favorite book, or a cozy evening in. And if you feel overwhelmed, reaching out to someone who will listen can make a difference. The Samaritans are available to talk, no matter what you’re going through. You can call them for free at 116 123, and they’ll be there to listen without judgment. Remember, there’s no shame in seeking support—it’s a sign of strength.
